Well...what a surprise for me today! Having received a couple of texts informing me they'd seen me in the newspaper, when I returned home, there was my smiling visage in the local rag. I'd completely forgotten about the whole thing...that'll be my age I suppose. Though in fairness the interview did take place before Christmas, and that does, afterall, seem such a long time ago now. Anyway, there I am, clutching three books in one hand (yes, I know, but it doesn't look as strange as it sounds) and the article says I'm hoping the novel will kickstart my "literacy career"..! Ooops, already had one of those, though the typo did create raucous laughter in my house with a couple of suggestions to replace "literacy" with "glittery" (special thanks to my daughter for that one), or better still, just "racey" (does it have an "e"? Maybe it should).

Following on from this, Idwal's in Stourbridge has sold out of "The Chameleon Room", which is good news for me, but will be re-stocked tomorrow. Have to thank (at least in part) Friends Reunited, as old pals from the dim and distant have been contacting me having heard about my "literacy career" and have purchased a copy. Isn't technology just great??
